The cost of a marine survey has many variables that can affect a fair price, including but not limited to;
-
The type of survey requested (Prepurchase, Insurance, Appraisal, Damage Inspection)
-
The size and type of vessel
-
The vessel's construction and materials used
-
The type and scope of work the surveyor is required to complete
-
The location of the vessel

The vessel's condition can also play a part in the total cost of a marine survey. It typically takes longer to compete a survey and write the report for a 15-year-old boat that has been badly neglected, than it does for a three-year-old vessel in Bristol condition. Marine Survey cost is typically based on a flat fee or price per foot depending on the size of the vessel. In our opinion, we believe that marine survey’s are a key step in purchasing or selling a boat of any kind, and we pride ourselves in helping clients make educated decisions through a mentoring and coaching approach. A boat is a serious investment in terms of money, safety and fun on the water and we take our role to provide the information you need, seriously. Call for pricing.
